Today, I will write about the story about a wedge.^_^ Once a circle missed a wedge. The circle wanted to be whole, so it went around looking for its missing piece. But because it was incomplete and therefore could roll only very slowly, it admired the flowers along the way. It chatted with worms. It enjoyed the sunshine. It found lots of different pieces, but none of them fit. So it left them all by the side of the road and kept on searching. Then one day the circle found a piece that fit perfectly. It was so happy. Now it could be whole, with nothing missing. It incorporated the missing piece into itself and began to roll. Now that it was a perfect circle, it could roll very fast, too fast to notice the flowers or to talk the worms. When it realized how different the world seemed when it rolled so quickly, it stopped, left its found piece by the side of the road and rolled slowly away.
The lesson of the story, I suggested, was that in some strange sense we are more whole when we are missing something. The man who has everything is in some ways a poor man. He will never know what it feels like to yearn, to hope, to nourish his soul with the dream of something better. He will never know the experience of having someone who loves him give hime something he has always wanted or never had.
There is a wholeness about the person who has come to terms with his limitations, who has been brave enough to let go of his unrealistic dreams and not feel like a failure for doing so. There is a wholeness about one person who has learned that he or she is strong enough to go through a tragedy and survive, who can lose someone and still feel like a complete person.
When we accept that imperfection is part of being human, and when we can continue rolling through likfe and appreciate it we will have achieved a wholeness that others can only aspire to.If we are brave enough to love, stong enough to forgive, generous enough to rejoice in another's happiness, and wise enough to know there is enough love to go around for us all, then we can achieve a fulfillment that no other liveing creature will ever know.

    Who Moved My Cheese?

"Who moved my cheese?" is a story about change that takes place in a Maze where four amusing characters look for"cheese",Cheese being a metaphor for what we want to have in life.
Each of us has our own idea of what Cheese is, and we pursue it because we believe it makes us happy. If we get it, we often become attached to it. And if we lose it, or it's taken away, it can be traumatic. The "Maze" in the story represents where we spend time looking for what we want. It can be the organization you work in, The community you live in, or the realationships we have in our life. In the story we will see that the two mice do better when they are faced with change because they keep things simple, while the two little people's complex brains and human emotions complicate things. It is not that mice are smarter. We all know people are more Intelligent than mice. However, as we watch what the four characters do, and realize both the mice and the little people represent parts of ourselves; the simple and the complex; we can see it would be to our advantage to do the simple things that work when things change.
[EXTRACTED]  The Story of WHO MOVED MY CHEESE?
        Having cheese makes you happy.
The more important your cheese is to you, the more you want to hold on to it.
If you do not change you can become extinct.
What would you do if you weren't afraid?
Smell the cheese often so you know when it is getting old.
Movement in a new direction helps you find new cheese.
When you move beyond your fear, you feel free.
Imagining my self enjoying new cheese, even before I find it, leads me to find it.
The quicker you let go of old cheese, The sooner you find new cheese.
It is safer to search in the Maze than remain in a cheeseless situation.
Old beliefs do not lead you to new cheese.
When you see that you can find a enjoy new cheese you ccan change course.
Noticing small changes early helps you to adapt to the bigger changes that are to come.

    [RESET] HOME

What makes a home? Love and sympathy and confidence. It is a place where kindly affections exist among all the members of the family. The parents take good care of their children, and the children are interested in the activities of their parents. Thus all of them are bound together by affection, and they find their home to be the cheerist place in the world.
A home without love is no more a home than a body without a soul is a man. Every civilized person is a social being. No one should live alone. A man may lead a successful and prosperous life, but prosperity alone can by no means iinsure happiness. Many great personages in the world histroy had deep affections for their homes. Your home may be poor and humble, but your duty lies there. You should try to make it cheerful and comfortable.  The greater the difficulties, the richer will be your reward.
A home is more than a family dwelling. It is a school in which people are trained for citizenship. A man will not render good services to his country if he can do nothing good for his home;for in proportion as he loves his home, will he love his country. The home is the birthplace of true patriotism. It is the secret of social welfare and national greatness. It is the basis and origin of civilization.
